Rocket Launchers Turned in During L.A. Gun Buyback Not Functional - Los Angeles Times
Two rocket launchers turned in to the Los Angeles Police Department as part of the city’s gun buyback event appear to be antitank weapons from the military, experts said.
In other words the two rocket launchers were among the least dangerous items turned in. Right there with old rusted out non functioning guns that are always a part of these buys.
Inert and legal to own in many places. Below is an image of the stacks of actually dangerous firearms that were bought.

Los Angeles and other major cities need to do more of this. All these guns go to be smelted into fresh steel for a swords into plowshares moment. This is a significant number of guns. These are guns that were ripe for criminal picking and use.
